Privacy policy

This policy explains what personal information Itqan collects, why, and the choices you have.

Information we collect

Account details you give us (name, email address, and optionally phone number). Your learning activity: enrollments, completed lessons, video positions, quiz answers, reviews and certificates. Payment records (amount, status, course); card details are handled by our payment provider and never stored on our servers. Basic technical data such as your IP address, used to protect the service.

How we use it

To run your account and give you access to the courses you enrolled in; to save your progress and issue certificates; to process payments and refunds; to answer your messages; and to keep the platform secure, for example by limiting repeated sign-in attempts.

What others can see

Reviews show your first name and the initial of your last name. A certificate page shows your name, the course and the issue date to anyone who has its link or code. Instructors see enrollment and progress figures for their own courses.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with services that help us run Itqan (such as payment processing, email delivery and file storage), and only as much as they need, or when the law requires it.

Retention and your choices

We keep your data while your account is active so you can return to your courses. You can update your profile at any time, and you can ask us to export or delete your account by contacting us.

Cookies and local storage

We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember preferences such as language and color theme. We do not use advertising trackers.

If this policy changes in a meaningful way, we will say so on this page and update the date below. Last updated: October 2026.
