About Itqan
Itqan is an academy for authentic Islamic knowledge and the Arabic language. We bring trusted scholars and careful teaching together on one platform, in Arabic and English.
Our mission
We want sound, well-sourced knowledge to be within reach of every learner, wherever they live. Itqan means mastery: we aim for lessons that are precise, clear and faithful to the sources.
What we teach
Courses in Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Aqeedah, Seerah, Tajweed, Usool al-Fiqh and the Arabic language, from first steps to advanced study. Every course is structured into sections and lessons, with quizzes to check your understanding and a certificate when you finish.
Our teachers
Lessons are taught by qualified scholars and experienced teachers. Each instructor builds and maintains their own courses on Itqan, so the material stays current and connected to the person teaching it.
Scholarly and teaching services
Beyond courses, the Itqan team offers manuscript editing, review of books and theses, Arabic proofreading, Quran teaching and Arabic for non-native speakers. See the Services page for details.
